This is a standard HI - its a bit away from downtown and a lot of the places to eat. The TV is an old standard tube type vs what most properties have this days with a flat screen HD. In addition, the Internet is very slow at this property. Other than that, I had no large issues here. More

Having business in Southington, CT I had previously stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in that area, but felt it was a bit too North from my destination. I located this Hampton Inn ( a chain that usually has consistent accomodations) that was very convenient to the Interstate, allowing me to attend to business in Southington and return to the... More

Don't stay here New Year's Eve if you want to get any sleep. Third year in a row we've been awakened by partying at 3 in the morning. The attitude of the desk clerk is "this is a hotel, what do you expect on New Year's Eve?" Well, as paying guests who have to drive over 300 miles to get... More

I was due to stay at the Hampton at the end of October 2011. The weather at the time was not great; it was the time of the freak snow storm which in fact sent Connecticut in to a state of Emergency. The Amtrak had cancelled all trains from New York to Connecticut and had to make other arrangements to... More

The hotel is in a weird and not very appealing location off the highway. It's an older property that is not aging all that well; the rooms are small and the breakfast area is cramped by Hampton standards. However, the front desk staff are helpful and competent -- and there don't seem to many choices in this part of Connecticut. More

If you long for the poorest and slowest internet since you received since you received AOL discs in the mail, this is your place. If having service is important, stay away. Most amenities to not meet current Hampton Inn standards found just about everywhere, but it is still not that bad, just a bit outdated. More

Hampton Inn has never disappointed us and it still has high marks with us. Great service and excellent accommodations. The staff was wonderful and was always happy to answer our questions about the area. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the train station which was so handy to go into New York City. More

We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns throughout the year and are used to "sparkling" lobbies, rooms and staff. When we entered the Waterbury Hampton, we immediately noticed that it lacked "sparkle." Here are some of our observations: Pool closed, breakfast fruit consisted only of apples, trash in the driveway and parking lot, no USA Today delivered to our... More

This location is just off of I-84 and easy to get to. We checked in very late and were very pleased that the type of room we requested was waiting for us. The hotel is located in somewhat of a quiet residential area separate by trees and green space so it blends in nicely. We were also impressed with the... More

We selected this hotel because it is close to I-84. When we checked in, we were assigned to an even numbered room. A Trip Advisor entry recommended asking for an odd numbered room for less highway noise. The room was readily changed to the same type room I had reserved, and it was quiet. The room was clean and had... More
