We stayed at the Tradewinds for 7 days during February 2012. We found the location to be great, fronting onto the bay and across the road to the Gulf with a lovely beach. The grounds and pool area are lovely- very well kept. The private fishing pier was great for fishing and just sitting. The hotel is well situated for... More

Stayed the week of April 1 in units 20 and 25. We had an original reservation beginning April 4, but added the first part of the week later. Jake handled my reservations and did a superb job. Both units were spotless and housekeeping kept the units tidy during the week (fresh towels, trash removal, etc.). The housekeepers work extremely hard... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in cottage #4. It was cute, clean, and had everything we needed. My husband and I took our grandchildren for a spring break beach getaway. Great pool and fishing pier. We saw dolphins from the pier. The beach is across the street, but has all the amenities ready for you. Lounge chairs, umbrellas and... More

After spending a week in Orlando at a very noisy resort, the Tradewinds was a breath of fresh air (in more ways than one). Quiet, very friendly, clean cottages, beautiful beach within walking distance and so much more. We're senior citizens and enjoyed the relaxed, quiet environment. The location is close to a variety of good restaurants and shopping areas.... More

We rented cottage #31 for a week, which was clean and perfect for two but lacked storage for a long term rental. We were happy we chose this location on Anna Maria where we could walk to places. It has a nice pool area and the beach across the street. Enjoyed watching the dolphins and fishing from the pier. The... More

Our family booked this resort for a whole month Mid December 2011 to January 2012. We were delighted initially with the location, style of cottage etc. We bought some nice Xmas things and settled in for the month> We had Xmas dinner at the cottage. 2 days later to our absolute horror my wife noticed a rat in the kitchen.... This family checked into our Tradewinds Gulf Drive Villa on December 8, 2011. On December 27, 2011, the guest called our after hours emergency number and reported seeing a rat in their unit. Our on-call maintenance person responded immediately. He arrived & set 2 traps. He offered to stay and see if anything were caught so he could dispose of... More

Tradewind Resorts is the best vacation "find". The setting is quite attractive--pastel cottages, well manicured tropical landscape, beautiful blue waters. The cottages are clean, well equipped, quiet, and conveniently located. Management is attentive and knowledgable, giving us many suggestions for activities and dinners. The beach is just across the street and beach towels, umbrellas, and lounge chairs are provided. The... More

We've rented this place on a spot, while looking for "escape" from a vacation property we've rented previously. TradeWinds is a quiet, comfortable and very clean place. Since we rented at the last moment we had to switch suites in the middle of our weekly stay. Both suites are nearly identical, consist of 2 rooms - bedroom and dining/ living... More
