In my opinion, Sterling Sands has the best heated pool & hot tub on the Emerald Coast....important in Dec/Jan/Feb...also best balconies for the winter season. My husband and I stayed here last week with some friends. We stayed in the extra bedroom and it's just big enough for a bed to fit in. It doesn't even have a closet. Problem #1 I booked through an internet site that had promos for this condo. It stated 2 BR with 2 queen beds on the 4th flr. (room 403 to be exact). When we arrived it was a 1 BR/Bath with a another room that wasn't much bigger than my closet that had a day bed and a pull out cot.... More

I will say I've been to Destin a few times and this was our first time staying at Sterling sands. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, but besides that, I think we got ripped off with their so called "cleaning fees"..we had to pay extra $200 for "trashing" their condos. fYI- we had to buy our own...
