1 May 2012. Other reviews of this hotel seem to be either raves or complaints. I think it depends on whether you're in the tower or the pool section. The former has large, modern rooms. I don't know about the ones around the pool, but from the outside, they look as if they belonged to an average motel. We were... More

Started going to Pier 66 20 years ago, Back then it was the happening place. Now that I'm older, so is it. However, the cabana rooms are nice and all have patios. The pool is refreashing. The food and drinks are pretty good but pricey. The tropical setting is nice as well as it being a great place to look... More

We spent 3 nights in a Tower Room prior to our Panama Canal cruise in April 2012. We were upgraded (thanks Evan) to a Junior suite with a fantastic view of the cruise port. I actually watched our cruise ship arrive early on 25th. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. We ate each morning at Mariners - the... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of April 2012 prior to taking a cruise. I was somewhat apprehensive after reading some of the earlier reviews but my fears were quickly dispelled upon arrival. The Foyer is very elegant and checkin was fast and efficient. We had reserved garden rooms which had received some questionnable reviews but we... More

I had never been to Florida and was in town for my friends wedding held at the Hyatt. The banquet staff was fantastic! Food was delicious. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and courteous. We had a comfortable bed, a mile walk to the beach and less than that into town. My only complaint was staying on west... More

Before arriving at this hotel I had been reading the reviews for many months. They are so varied that I was quite nervous and did't know what to expect. I need not have worried. This is a lovely property! Check in was fast. We were given a room in the tower with a lovely view of the grounds, canals and... More

I had a weird time in Ft. Lauderdale, after such a strange experience, I decided it was time to spoil myself with a nice hotel. Pier 66 was suggested to me by a Captain from a docked Yacht and he said he'd never been disappointed. I had a great time! Friendly staff, nice room, good view and great restaurants with... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed in one of the rooms on the marina. It was nice looking out at the boats and walking down the marina. The concierge was very helpful in setting up a fishing trip. He even suggested we see if the hotel chef could cook any fish we caught. We ended up... More

I booked this hotel for a small 2 day meeting for 18 people. The lobby is nice somewhat sparce/modern looking. The location of the hotel is good - it's not too far from the airport. My room was not in the main building. It was in one of the 2 story buildings that are separate. I had to walk outside... More
