I was impressed with this hotel. Overall, in South Florida the guest service leaves a lot to be desired but this particular Renaissance was fantastic. David and Nenad at the front desk were extremely friendly (which is very rare in South Florida) and very helpful. Total check in time was less than 1 minute, we were welcomed by name, and... More

Stayed here just the one night while traveling on business but a great place. Rooms are big, lots of amenities packed in there, south beach flare to the furniture. Decent pool, friendly staff, less means more type of styling in the lobby. Good coffee, transfers to the airport included. Ocean view if your facing east, quiet area away from the... More

We have an annual meeting at the Renaissance and we have never been disappointed. The meeting rooms are nicely appointed and the sleeping spaces are good too. People from AV respond to requests with amazing alacrity and I was very impressed with the food that we ordered for our meetings this year. The customer service at this property is terrific.... More

My second stay at this hotel for a convention, so location was excellent. Had a standard king room on the 8th floor. Hotel is very nice and extremely clean. Very plush and comfortable bed, but could hear doors slamming, talking and water running from other guest rooms all night long. Be aware there are charges for parking and Internet. Missed... More

Stayed for one night. Recommended for the most part. Modern look, GREAT view of downtown Ft. Lauderdale, also good view of yachts that happen to be docked at the yacht club nearby, free citrus water by the elevators, good selection of coffee and tea in the room, audio/video controls at the desk, high thread count sheets so it was VERY... My husband and I stayed here on Friday night before our cruise and were so happy with the location and the service of this hotel. The pool and outdoor space (although just over a stucco wall from a VERY busy and loud street) were both pleasantly relaxing. Location was great-- it is literally across the street from the cruise port.... More

We stayed here one night before returning home from our vacation. The lobby is nice, room was nice, great view of the port. The concierge lounge was nice, good evening snacks and breakfast. The pool is beautiful and secluded. It is close to many restaurants. If you need a stop over for a cruise or need to be close to... More

We stayed the night before our cruise. The hotel is ok. It is nothing special. It's clean and decent looking but no wow factor. They will try very hard to make you take the shuttle to your cruise but if you want a taxi, just ask for one out front. It was about $16 to get us there and no... More
