Official Description (provided by the hotel):: The Mellon Patch Inn is under new management. We are across the street from Pepper Park Beach & Recreation Area. Complete with; a basketball court, volleyball court, lighted tennis courts, and even a ball field, and large playground for the kids. The park has bathrooms & showers, we provide beach towels & beach mats. The National UDT Navy SEAL Museum is within walking distance of both the park and our inn. There is a dock in the backyard with water access to the Indian River Lagoon, and no fixed bridges to the ocean. It's ok to bring your boat as there are several public boat ramps on North Hutchinson Island. The rooms have been updated in July 2012. Most of the rooms have a king size bed. The Inn has one suite for up to 2 guests or a two room suite for up to 4 guests including a balcony. We serve a full gourmet breakfast including a variety of fresh fruits and juices. Coffee and tea are always available. Wireless internet service on premises. We welcome you to experience our island paradise. “Best of Show”

The property was in a bit of a renovation phase, as they are putting in a pool and spa. Even so, a very comfortable stay. “Great Stay”

Spent three nights at this location (Feb.10-12) Kathy was very welcoming and provided great service. The room was clean, attractive, and comfortable. Air conditioning/heater worked perfectly. Breakfasts were super - bacon, waffles, fruit, eggs all delicious and most generous servings.

“Overnite stop while driving to Florida Keys”

Very reasonably priced option and a pretty location. The owner is also a caterer and justice of the peace and the inn is used for weddings and events. Breakfast was very tasty and apporiately sized. Coffee and refrigerator available 24 hours. Rooms are colorful and "beachy".

A friend & I spend a wonderful weekend at The Mellon Patch Inn. What a great place. Something for everyone. We got to de-stress the entire weekend. The place is beautiful, looks like a tropical paradise. The owners, Cathy & Bud are the BEST! Can't wait to go back!

We could not have had a more wonderful trip. The rooms, decorations, everything was perfect. The friendly conversation was worth and extra fee. Outstanding place to visit.
