This was our second stay at the Fairbanks House. The first was 15 years ago for our honeymoon, and we came back to celebrate our anniversary. Theresa and Bill are wonderful hosts and take care of your every need. They are very easy going and made us feel right at home. This place is perfect for a relaxing get-away -... More

Four of my high school friends and I spent a Girls Just Want to Have Fun weekend in the Servants Quarters cottage. It was great! Plenty of room and every convenience. One bathroom for 5 women was a slight challenge but we worked around it just fine. Theresa and Bill were very accommodating and the breakfast they serve every morning... More

We had a wonderful 3-day stay. Our room exceeded our expectations in every way. The breakfast each morning were so delicious (we were so spoiled). Theresa and Bill were so welcoming which made us feel right at home as soon as walked into this amazing house. PS Theresa, thanks again for NOT serving Cashews, Pistachios and Shellfish for breakfast. You... More

On my second visit to Fairbanks House, I was accompanied by my husband of 42 years. I was no less impressed or in awe of the whole experience on my second trip as on my first. On my first trip, I was on a Girls Just Want To Have Fun trip with friends that I've known for 40+ years. What... More

We were fortunate enough to find a gem of a B&B on Amelia Island. within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and charming sights. Theresa and Bill made us feel most welcome. The inn is a smoke-free (yay!) environment and a most welcoming atmosphere. There was an unexpected happy hour enjoyed by most guests, including wine, beer, soft drinks and delicious... More

We stayed at the Fairbanks House for the weekend celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. Location is great; within walking distance to the Historic District. Room was clean and bed is comfortable. Bill and Theresa, the innkeepers, are very hospitable and are ready to answer questions and make reservations for you. We did a Romance Package, which included chocolate covered strawberries, wine,... More

Having worked in the hotel industry for over 15 years, I must say that my experience at the Fairbanks House outperforms even the best mid-service hotel. My wife chose their elopement package, which required a 1 night stay(we cancelled a night at the Ritz Carlton). Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and provided plenty of space to sprawl out our things.... More

Eight High School girlfriends, who have been gathering for the last 9 years, were looking for a place to celebrate this year that we all turn 6-0. Located on a quiet street but within easy walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants, the Fairbanks House B&B was the perfect choice. Bill & Theresa attended to every detail from booking... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Fairbanks House and we were extremely impressed by everything. We have never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast where the host and hostess were so friendly and attuned to our needs. It is a beautiful, elegant location and we were greeted each morning by a delicious breakfast. There are evening hors... More

This being my first time at a Bed and Breakfast, I wasn't sure what to expect. After spending a girl's weekend with Bill and Theresa at The Fairbanks House, I don't know if I can ever stay in a hotel again. I felt so spoiled...from the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and Godiva chocolates waiting in our room the first... More
