Stayed here for one night while starting a trip down the Keys. We had the standard motel room. It was clean and basic. We were in room #11 which is right on the road so noisy. We booked the 2 beach front cabins based on location, kitchen and reviews. Cabin 9: Much smaller than expected, bright but very basic. We just stayed in this hotel for one night but we enjoyed it. We had booked an efficiency room which meant we had a kitchen. We spent one week at the Rock Reef Resort and were completely delighted. The owners were darling and were interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed this spot with a nice variety of trees and flowers. The location along the calm bay was ideal for our little swimmer (toddler) and the family cabin was just the right size. Staff was friendly and it was a nice surprise that they had beach toys available for loan.
