We spent 3 nights here in 2 rooms, and never needed our car until it was time to leave. No problem walking to all the attractions...and I'm 70. It's on the same street as the Southernmost point, the Hemmingway House, the Truman Summer Whitehouse, and a museum. One block over is the main shopping/eating/drinking street.
