Yes, it was clean, but, frankly, that's about the only positive thing I can say about Tropicaire. Everything was dated. Looks like it hasn't had anything done to it since 1955. We stayed here for one night whilst on the road. Ted the manager was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and simple and were just what we needed. All a short walk from some good restaurants.

Great location: you can walk 5 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, and CVS pharmacy. Bars and souvenir places are about 10 minute walk. Very safe & quiet at night.
