After staying one night, I cancelled the remainder of my stay and found a new hotel. We were constantly being harrassed by Paul, who seemed to be the owner. Paul is a penny-pinching, rude, and inconsiderate man. He tried to charge us per person for HANGING out at the hotel, after telling him that we would be having a few... More

We spent two nights here last week, and are so grateful to have found this terrific little place. I have no doubt that we will be back again. We arrived with no reservations, so were very fortunate to get one of the waterfront motel units. The owners were terrific, and very helpful during the check in process. We expected it... More

We stopped without booking a room for one night but that turned into 4 days after the first sunset...nice and quiet atmosphere, pool was relaxing with BBQs and tables for outdoor dining. We didn't fish but there was a family we talked to that stay often to fish off the nearby bridge. Next time we go we are bringing our... More

My husband and I have returned to Edgewater Lodge for our second time and was just as great as our first time! We first went there February 2012 for a Valentines Getaway and then again that year around November I believe. Should of posted this sooner so I could remember-sorry I did not; meant to! This place is good for... More

We had booked four nights at the Edgewater Lodge but the moment we arrived, we extended our stay by two nights. This is the perfect spot for the most relaxing of holidays: beautifully positioned right on the water, comfortable and spacious rooms (we had a two-bedroom cottage to accommodate my wife, myself and our three teenaged children, and we had... We stayed last weekend at Edgewater Lodge and had a complete blast! We arrived Friday morning to a warm welcome from Melinda who gave us the lay of the land. We trailered my boat down and tied it up at their docks for the weekend. We spent Friday afternoon on the pristine waters of Florida Bay and universally agreed that... More

We checked Tripadvisor before booking the Edgewater Lodge. Melinda was so friendly on the phone, it was a pleasure to meet her in person. Our room was extra clean and had a beautiful view of the sunset over the bay each night. We grilled out each evening and sat under the little hut roof table and watched the sunset. An... More

We had one of the rooms with a sliding glass door and deck right on the water, several nights we brought fresh and awesome takeout seafood back to the room and ate on our deck, as the sunset was as nice off of our deck then anywhere else we ate. Edgewater had a sheet with places to eat and things... More
