Pros:- It's got a great diner nearby. It's got a bunch of shops right on the road next to the hotel, open in the evenings. Food and clothes are cheap and big quantities. Hotel is nice, but... Nice hotel, location is good, updated amenities and decor, small rooms, horrid charges on poolside drinks ($18 for an umbrella drink!). This is probably standard for Miami but for what you pay, it's crowded and seems impersonal. FYI- chairs on the beach will run you 12.50 each and umbrella's $18. More
