I rented number 315 for four days in March. I met with the housekeeper and got the keys to this secured building. When I got to my room it looked much bigger than the pictures for a studio. The Barbizon was a fantastic place, It was clean, comfortable ,very spacious and affordable. The location was perfect, walk to the beach, shops, clubs and restaurants, etc. Lee was great, he answered my many emails within minutes. We will definitely be returning next year. The Barbizon is in a Great location just across street from the Beach. But that doesn't out way how incredibly dirty the hallways, the bedrooms and bathrooms are. The carpeting and the towels were stained. The Beds were very noisy and the loud music and people partying in the restaurant below until all hours of the morning were not conducive to a good night sleep. Beware. I spent the time and paperwork to book condo 216 and within a week was informed the owner didn't want to rent it that weekend. Now back to square one in finding lodging with less than two weeks to my visit. Money was refunded, but quite a disappointment. More

The Barbizon is all we expected: - very well priced - extremely well located (ocean view) but because of this loud, off key live music under your window, from 9 - 02.00 in the weekend. I recently stayed in condo #206 owned by Joe Ferriera. The decor in the condo is very up to date and well layed out. It is in a very prime location, situated directly across the street from the ocean and on ocean drive near restaurants, bars, and shopping. I rented a studio apartment from Richard/sandcastlesmiamibeach apt 211. It is very clean and modern. The location on the backside of the building is helpful in regards to noise, although the walls are thin and others around can be heard. It is directly across from the beach and next to all the shopping and dining in South Beach. I would definitely stay there again. More
