This resort was a fabulous way to see the animals up close. Each morning you could look out and see how the animals were grouped for the night. Spectacular views of the "savannah" . Resort on par with other Disney resorts in it's category ie. Contemporary, Polynesian. Rooms were nice and restaurant was good. More

My family stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House last week for our trip to Disney World. It was fantastic! The service, food and amenities were great and the pool was awesome. We loved our balcony room with views of Giraffes and other animals. The hotel was quiet and even though I feel like it was probably fairly... More

Rooms were small and not great quality especially for the room rate. It was like a best western. Food in the African buffet restaurant had excellent food. Pool was definitely not built to provide safety/soft surfaces for young kids which struck us as very odd. The key to a good Rate happens after yOuve arrived-you get 35% off next stay.... More

Amazing place to stay! We only had three nights here but it was certainly worth spending just that little extra to look out at giraffes, zebras, wilder beasts etc from our balcony. Located away from most of the parks, however this would be a great choice for a short stay while going to Animal Kingdom, before relocating closer to the... More

Rooms are comfortable, clean, modern, exciting and fun to stay in. The hotel is an attraction in itseld as the children and adults amaze at the scenery, activities and constant fun. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Plus it is truly different from staying in any normal hotel in disney. No question the family will come back for... More

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel so i tried to set aside my working schedule and settled at 4 nights of stay. The whole place looked like a cheap zoo stadium on the outside, but once you stepped into the lobby you would be impressed by how much they paid great attention to the african theme detail.... More

We just returned from a Disney vacation at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Our room had a savanna view and each day the giraffes would eat right beside our balcony... a sight to remember. Each day we'd enjoy different animals just outside our balcony from the usual savanna animals to rabbits and ducklings. My kids could not wait to look outside each... More

We live close to Disney so only stayed a night and really love this hotel (Jambo house). The lobby is breathtaking and of course the Disney "cast members" are awesome! "Welcome home" they all say! It is expensive (I think May is high season) but worth staying on Disney property. We didn't splurge for savannah views but it is still... More

The hotel is dark and the rooms are small. The batbrooms are tiny and cramped. The theme is not particularly fun and only mildly interesting. The pool was nice but had no drink service. The food was just OK. Jiko was decent and Boma was the same. Nothing really stood out except the animals so if you don't have a... More

I have traveled to several cities and this resort is only 3 hours from my home. Yet, it is an amazing place from home. Disney has made your animal kingdom stay feel like a trip to the safari. Most rooms, even without reserved safari view, still give you view of the animals, straight from your in room balcony. Zebras, giraffes... More
