I love Disney because I love being in the parks. Staying at the campground felt like being an afterthought because of the transportation issues. The campground is so large you have to take different buses to/from your campsite, the convenient store/restaurants, the reservation desk/main bus stop, and the pool(s). From the park you catch a bus to the Fort Wilderness... More

My wife and I love this campground. We are 2 hours away, and allows us to take our motorhome there regularly. I stay away in the high seasons, but we love the offseason. Epcot has their flower and garden show, which is outstanding, we love to walk the trails, we will rent a two seater boat and bomb around the... More

Beware - this will spoil you for "normal" camping! There is so much to do - swimming (they have a shallow pool/playground for itty bitties) - you can rent canoes or small boats at the marina. They play a Disney movie every night by the pool with a campfire and Chip n Dale for free! You can sit on the... More

My husband, two young daughters and I stayed at the cabins for a week (April 2013). This is a great type of accommodation for families who want to experience Disney but need regular breaks from the busy, sensory-overload that is Disney too. With the cabins located right in Disney World (near Magic Kingdom), we could go to a Disney attraction... More

We stayed in a cabin which is very well priced as it sleeps 6 and has full kitchen facilities. It's basically a single wide mobile home. We didn't like the transportation because you have to take internal buses to get to the other primary modes of transportation , but we did like that we could take the boat to monorail... More

First trip I was about 12 yrs old, now I am in my mid 40's and we are still going. Stayed in a tent in Spanish Moss Lane, great memories over the years. We have stayed in the cabins, but have upgraded to an RV :) It is now even funnier because my little one's first visit was in 2010... More

This was our second time at Camp Wilderness. The camping and cabins are great with nice amenities. I would steer clear of the take out and buffet restaurants near the marina unless you are absolutely desperate. Head to the Wilderness Lodge instead. They were overpriced and tasted liked microwaved dinners. Even the pizza was bad. We enjoyed having breakfast on... More

A really, really nice place. We stayed on a "premium" site with just a 5th wheel camper and a truck. Would definitely recommend spending the extra money for the "premium" site. They have a lot more room to put out the awning and hanging out outside. We rented a golf cart which is for sure the way to go! There... More

Well we traveled and stayed here on spring break 09, it was our first time visiting Disney. It was wonderful, the cabin is not small and we had 3 younger kids so they really enjoyed the place, even the murphy bed was comfortable for us, we don't really like soft beds (please check my review for all star music resort)... My family and I camp at Fort Wilderness every year, sometimes a few times a year for a long weekend since we only live 2 hours away. We have a pop up camper always bring our dog along for the fun. I would say half the time we don't even go to a theme park as there is so much... More
