Booked this for a girls weekend, the cost is what brought us there. Then we read the reviews from here after we booked. We were absolutely nervous, but here is an honest review. We stayed in room 433...IT'S NOT THAT BAD. At least our room wasn't. We got in around 11AM, they wouldn't let us check in early, so we hung by the pool. The pool was freezing cold, so we didn't go it, and they only have 6, very worn down, loungers. We were fortunate to get one every day. The pool and hot tub also seemed to have sand at the bottom. We did sit in the hot tub a couple of times, it was a little dirty. The hotel is absolutely dated, the staff seemed to be friendly. We didn't eat on site, our room appeared clean, including the bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again. Within walking distance was an iHop, a First Watch, Dunkin Donuts, 7-11, a burger place, a souvenir shop and some other shops/restaurants. about 2.5/3 miles down the road was an entertainment district with all sorts of bars and restaurants. You have to be realistic with what you expect with what you are paying. We found absolutely nothing gross about our say, no bugs, clean bathrooms, overall a decent stay.

Yes, it’s cheap, it’s cheap for a reason. Pool and hot tub are not as pictured, landscaping is terrible, the floors smell like rotten fish, everything in the room is breaking or is broken. lamps falling off the wall etc. Worst of all, the window wasn’t even installed flush, leaving an inch wide gap that the wind would absolutely howl through when it thunder-stormed. If you’re gonna stay here. expect a rough time.

The scenario was one of those good pictures on the website bad experience up front, even while looking for "deals" as these travel sites suggest, you would think the hotels they send you to would not be disgusting. Paying less should not mean you are less of a person to leave in squalor. I am sure this hotel was purchased but someone in the early 2000's, and left to its own devices, as there no upgrades past 2005 on anything hardware wise (TV, exercise room, vending machines, etc). The external building is weather beaten and needs a new coat of paint, roof damage, dead palm trees, and overgrown lawn areas. Lets just say take pictures at another location, or at an angle like they do in their pictures. The parking lot always had this same guy in this 1976 Corvette who looked like he was frozen in a timeloop with the hotel, all the way down to the cutoff jean shorts. Internally, the place smelled of mold, and did not have central air, so you were sweating before you even got to your room. I saw the AC house units littering the inside and said that is a bad sign. The room was also a disappointment, literal rust around the drain in the tub, the carpet looked like it was dyed from filth and was gritty to the touch. I think the only reason I enjoyed the pool area ( which is why I gave it 2 out of 5) is due to the fact no-one was really staying at the hotel and I had my run of the hot tub and the pool at all times, so that is a win for them. Even though there were palm tree run off all over the area and the sculptures had so much lime on them they should have came with a Corona. Their system had an outage half way through the second day, where no-one's keycards worked in the entire hotel (this should be capitalized) and we had to bide our time for an hour after a full day at Universal. Just be weary of the hotel, if you are saving money to go, go ahead and stay there, but if you have the funds to go to another establishment, (right across the street by the look of it) and are trying to be frugal, dont, or you will get what you asked for.

The outside of the building looked very ugly and outdated, a lot of stains on the outside walls. The reception /main hall smells awful, smells like the carpets are never cleaned. The pool looks dirty and the floor feels like a sandpaper rubbing on your feet. They gave us a room with a malfunctioning air conditioning and it was very warm inside, the refrigerator never worked properly, they changed our room the air conditioning was better, the refrigerator same deal. Room service came only once in our whole stay. The carpets and sheets in the room are badly stained. The rooms looked like the hotel froze in the 80’s. The tv are outdated. The hair dryer stoped working. The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is the service the employees gave us , but is a very bad hotel to stay at. Don’t book there.

I booked this hotel as a JetBlue Vacations package and trusted that JetBlue would vet hotels listed on their website. The pictures on the JetBlue site are far from the reality we walked into. This hotel is a dump. Do not trust the pictures on the hotel’s or JetBlue’s website. The hotel is run down and doesn’t have central air. The hallways are musty, hot and smelly. Their solution for air conditioning in the rooms is to install a window AC unit in the wall. The pillows were stained as you can see in the pictures. The carpeting looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in months. There was what appears to be blood stain on the carpet. While we understood that we were not staying at a 5 star hotel and that the hotel was on the cheaper side than most of the hotels closer to the International Drive main attractions, we feel like it was a bait and switch compared to the pictures advertised. The pool was filthy. They couldn’t pay me to even dip my feet in that moldy mess. Shame on JetBlue to advertise such a crappy hotel with the beautiful pictures taken probably more than 10 years ago!! I will think twice before I trust JetBlue’s hotel selections on my next vacation package!!

When we pulled into the hotel, one of the first things I noticed was the very tired landscaping. The lawn has bare spots, is dry and brown. The trees all need to be trimmed, and they’re absolutely NO lushness. The building can use a good power wash too. The decor is outdated and tired looking. It’s very confusing to find the way to the front desk. The bathroom tiles had a bunch of cracks and the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. I wanted to sit at the pool, but there are only 6 lounge chairs. I asked the front desk if there are any more and she said no. There’s only supposed to be 5. If you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep and don’t care about how the decor is, or have lower expectations of the quality of the hotel landscape. This is the place to stay. If you have standards. Book someplace else. 1 out of 10, because I can’t give a zero. Wouldn’t stay there again

This was the nastiest, run down hotels I’ve ever been to! Don’t be fooled by the photos they have shared, those must be from an old owner. It smells like mold, the carpets are disgusting, there was blood on the sheets and pillows, the tv only displayed red and green colors, the ac unit was mounted into an old return duct, they were out of towels and the bed was half collapsed.

The price of a room here is 1/3 of all the nearby hotels. I'm surprised that people expect similar amenities and service of a 5 star when they are paying much less. I was very happy with the attentive staff and my large, clean room. The bed was comfortable, the TV had premium channels and the location was fantastic. The room also had a fridge and unlimited coffee. It was very quiet and perfect for a place to crash while visiting the theme parks. I didn't notice any of the issues mentioned by others. It was a nice stay.

Management here is absolutely abysmal . While staying at this hotel we were placed on the 4th floor near what I recall as 426. The family in this room banged on the walls, had screaming kids, slammed the doors, and blasted a radio at 6 am in the morning. Repeated complaints to the office went unanswered. Other people on the floor we ran into said they complained as well. While the hotel is situated in an area of International drive that is ideal for our visits, it's over priced for what it is, it has mold in the ceiling in several areas, the parking lot is dangerously dark (women beware, wouldn't let my wife walk alone here!) and of course that they allow this riff raff to go on. We moved hotels to somewhere there was a competent and professional staff. And where we could get a good nights sleep after a nice evening out on the town. Stay elsewhere.

We had a great holiday and staying at this hotel was part of that. This review is written honestly. Positive but with some constructive feedback. After booking we read comments saying “the hotel is rundown” and “don’t waste your money”. This made us nervous. But we stuck with it. And we’re glad we did. Because if you look past the imperfections it has charm and potential. Yes it does look a bit rundown. I imagine because of Covid. I’m sure some of us didn’t look our best during/after Covid. A coat of paint here and there and a bit of maintenance, this hotel would give other hotels a run for their money! Large spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Big safe. Big TV Housekeeping visited every 2/3 days. We were fine with that. They did a great job. So we had to make our bed for a couple of days. Big deal! The pool was nice, as was the hot tub Although the floor of the pool needs a clean. It has a big car park but to be honest it needs resurfacing (in my opinion) and lighting installed. The gardens show potential but are a little overgrown in places, so in need of a manicure. (Aren’t we all!) Shame the bar isn’t open and the restaurant doesn’t serve lunch or dinner. But then again, we tend to eat out anyway. Still would be nice to see a full and busy service. The elevators look quite old and dated (and very small) but I don’t like elevators anyway! The hallways smell musty and some of the wallpaper in the hallways is peeling away from the walls. I would put this down to the humidity as Florida is a tropical climate!! Bit of AC and Oder busting detergent can sort that. No big deal. The staff were pleasant. Always said “Good morning” and “Goodnight”. Helped us when needed and otherwise left us alone. Great location. Close to parks, Malls, I-drive. Great price (at the moment) When they do the place up they could easily double the price per night. Final thoughts. I can understand some of the comments and concerns that are written. But I also think they are a little harsh. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY! we would definitely stay here again. We have fond memories and often talk about our time spent there. Would I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY! A strong 4 stars and look forward to coming back and giving it 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
