We had an end room. Very spacious but a bit worn. It smelled worn. If I was by myself I would stay here again. My companion is bit pickier

I'm not high maintenance at all but this hotel was very disappointing. Great location if you want to be close to historical section and down town. The room is not the worst if you come in expecting nothing. Bed was ok, bedding was clean but old, holes in blankets, pillows were ok. The tv was very out dated, only about...

New Year’s Eve 2011, First room, after taking a cold shower we pulled down the sheets ready for bed, bedbugs crawling on sheets. Went to front desk requested to be moved to a different room. She showed us 2 different rooms AWFUL smells, as if people lived there without taking shower for weeks and going bathroom in the same place....

Good: (Not many good points but more like okay)
-Proximity to downtown and outlet shopping
-neighborhood is okay
-reasonable pet fee compared to other location ($25 per stay; had 2 large dogs)
Not so good:
-water pressure for shower: barely any pressure and temperature is not hot enough (water stopped in the middle of my friend's shower and didn't flow...

First room, a/c was broken. Second room, pulled down the sheets ready for bed, bedbugs crawling on sheets. Front desk requested to see them, so we took them two. And it was New Years Eve! Packed up and went home at a little after midnight. Rooms, smell AWFUL, but I could've dealt with that. Bedbugs, NO. Now I feel all...

We got to St. Augustine and had booked at an aweful hotel, something right out of a horror movie. We were recommended to check out the Alhambra and they took us in and upsold us (our choice) on the jacuzzi rooms. These two rooms were drastically different. One had a victoria feel and the other had an 80's modern deco....

I am not normally a complainer of hotels, but this place was awful. The rooms smelled either like a horse had lived there or it was a musty smell. The 1st room they gave us was musty, so they moved us to a jacuzzi ste- smelled like a horse, the hot tub does not exist next to the un-heated swimming...

We booked two rooms for Thanksgiving 2011. The rooms were at steal at $49 each, the cheapest in town. I was skeptical but when we arrived we were greeted with very friendly service. Originally we were given rooms that were side-by-side but not the adjoining rooms I had asked for. We called the desk and within 10 minutes we were...

We needed a clean room for the weekend that wouldn't break the bank, and this hotel did just that. No frills, a little outside of town. but fine for a weekend. The micro and fridge was a bonus. No room service, the IHop nearby was closed. There is a walgreens across the street, and the trolley tour has a stop...

I have stayed at 5 or 6 hotels in St. Agustine in the last year. This hotel is by far the best hotel for the area and price. We usaully stay at hotels on I-95 6 miles away from the city becuase they are cheaper. Alhambra is same price of hotel 6 miles away and same 2 star rating. This hotel...
