Recently went over this past Labor Day weekend. Really cant say enough about this island. Have stayed 3 or 4 times over the years and have camped at the state park which is really nice. Beaches are clean. Facilities are very good. And the island doesnt get as hectic as other vacation spots. Definitely my favorite "Gulf" beach.....

One of Florida's best kept secrets. Quiet, private, secluded and gorgeous. Facilities are excellent and service is top notch. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here...a bit of a drive, but well worth it.

We visited Apalachicola Thanksgiving weekend. Saint George Island State Park was the highlight of the trip. The day we were there it was sunny and warm. The beautiful beaches go on for miles and we had the place almost to ourselves. Go and enjoy!

Title says it all !!! A great campground well taken care of by the Rangers and workampers. There are beaches close in the park that will take your breathe away and not crowded. Bring DEET as there are mosquitoes but it's worth it!

St George Island State Park has the most fantastic camping anyone could ask for Describe your camping trip: Secluded with nice sites and bathhouses. Pros: The location.
