We've stayed at the Coquina before, numerous times in fact. We stayed there from 22nd Dec until 2nd January to cover the Christmas period. I can recommend the Coquina enough. We stayed here on our first trip to Sarasota four years ago. It was right on the beach and not too expensive. But unless it has been completely renovated, I would not stay there again. The apartment was very dingy, dated, and worn. The whole place felt dirty.
