We've been coming to Sarasota every year for the past decade, and only found The Cypress now. We've been missing out. Great breakfasts in the front alcove overlooking Sarasota Bay, friendly hosts, beautifully, if eclectically, decorated rooms (we stayed in the Mango Suite, which opens into the back garden). Convenient to all the major sights and beaches; walking distance from historic downtown Sarasota and the botanical gardens. An all-around wonderful experience.
