The hotel was a bit below average in all aspects, except for an adequate buffet breakfast. Bedding and beds were marginal as well as all other amenities. The location had easy access to the main highway, but we would not go back. There are many better hotel choices in Sarasota.

We just stayed at Americinn in Sarasota. Very clean, nicely decorated ..each of the 4 floors has a common sitting area. Nice outdoor pool 3.6 feet to 6 feet..even chair lift for disabled . We stopped here for a night on our way down to key west. Wonderful room. Soft bed clean clean clean. Would stay here again. Wonderful location and quiet. Close to I75 and had a great pool. The staff was also super friendly

I frequent the Sarasota area to visit friends and family yet this was my first stay at the AmericInn. I will without a doubt be coming back in my upcoming visits. Such a great value in the Sarasota area! Newly renovated rooms with a very warm welcoming feel. The front desk staff was very accommodating and made sure our stay was everything it could be. Between the complementary breakfast & managers reception in the evening, you get more than a bang for your buck!

The room was spacious and super clean. We got a great rate on a 2 room suite that had a huge hot tub. Breakfast was good with a ton of choices. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores. The hotel is very clean and quiet. It sits right off of the highway, near shopping, restaurants, gas, grocery and many other businesses, some of which you could just walk there. Its sits back off the main road so you are somewhat secluded from traffic noise. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast served daily was good. Check in was speedy.
