I stayed here (tents) with a small group in spring of 2013. We had reservation and paid over 80 dollars for each of our "sites." When we got there the only place available for our sites and group was back in the woods. There were no sites like at real campgrounds. It was 300-400 yards to bathrooms and electricity. The... More

This was an OK camp, not the best I have stayed in and certainly not the worst. The service was very friendly from reception all the way through to cafe staff. The bathroom facilities were good, not exceptional but good. and the camp had most facilities you could want. So all in all I would recommend it but you wont... More

The campground has a private beach (although a little rocky -water shoes a good idea), nice sunsets from the bridge by the campground. Pub, café, dog park, marina with boats and kayaks to rent, decent laundry room and bike rentals. Cable and wifi included. A lot of the rv sites are very close together and many don't have any trees.... More

The first trip in our new travel trailer was to Key West. We went to Florida March 2-9 2013 and wanted to be as close to Key West as possible. Sugarloaf KOA seemed like a good choice. We paid a lot extra for one of the two waterfront sites only to discover they didn't have sewage hook ups and we... More

We booked a 3 night stay a few months before. I read most of the reviews that were left on here so i expected the worst and even was on the fence about cancelling, but my 11yr old was totally stoked to camp. Well we arrived on Good Friday and it was hopping. Lots of people walking around and riding... More

My wife, kids and I went to this camp (tent) during spring break for two nights. When we arrived we didn't get any info about anything. Luckily another visitor told us the procedure to check in and were to find the office. They told us to install in the red area since the other areas were crowded. Guess what, the... More

It is a KOA after all, and they are a lot the same. This one is more like a resort, albeit a campers"s resort. There is beach access, and not a bad beach at that. There is a place to launch your small boats, and another for canoes and kayaks. They have a club house with live music on weekends.... More

We went to the keys during spring break and didn't book until two weeks before...this was one of the only places still open for reservations in the keys and it turned out good! I liked the location, you have a beach, you can canoe out of the campgrounds or boat out, its right off the main road, 20 minutes from... More

the staff here is absolutly aweful. U can buy a koa mug for $7 and u get free coffee for ur stay. I got the mug only to be asked rudely "is that cup from this.stay?" also.i was sitting drinking my coffee outsidee the cafe, and an employee had their well behaved animal just relaxing on the seat of her... As a family of 6 we have a difficult time during our travels finding a reasonably affordable accommodation along with a friendly, safe environment, KOA Sugarloaf provided this for us. We have stayed twice in the park models (not the Airstream). The park models are 2012 and extremely well kept. They offer a full size bathroom, full size kitchen (stocked... More
