I agree with other reviewers that the staff was friendly and the location convenient...but this was the noisiest hotel we've ever stayed at. Some of the noise was not the hotel's fault; there was a wedding the night we stayed there and some of the guests held a long and drunken "meeting" in the hall outside our room late into... More

Hotel is in a nice location but seriously needs renovated. Wallpaper is peeling off walls. I asked for a quiet room but was put in a room that was somewhat noisy. I asked to be moved and they said they were putting me in a room facing a different direction. They didn't. It still faced the same street.

My experiences were always a 10 !!! from the front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, from the clean rooms to the good food, i never had to look for another hotel to stay in. Clean Rooms, Decent Bathroom, Very comfortable Bed, Excellent Staff, Pay for WiFi, Pay for Breakfast, Excellent Restauraunts within Walking Distance I'd recommend it if you had to stay downtown and had a car, but its just too far to walk to a store.

My group of 6 stayed in April, 2013, for meetings at the Capitol. The location is great (1.5 blocks) for there or the Supreme Court, but not so good for other things, like the colleges, shopping or less-expensive food. My go to place when visiting the Capitol. Good staff, dependable rooms, good restaurant and lounge. Plenty of other dining options within walking distance and the Capitol is two blocks away. Restaurant is a good location for business mtgs.
