“Newer, clean hotel - service lacking tho!”

Had a nice clean room, AC worked well but a bit on the noisy side, small bathroom vanity for a suite, but liked the kitchen set up. Wished they would have turned on the "ice maker" in the fridg before we arrived (at midnight!) - that would be a useful amenity! Tried to go swimming the next morning at 11:00... More

“Close to airport but hard to find”

This was less than 3 minutes to the airport but was very difficult to find using GPS. The area is so new that it wasn't showing up on the GPS and there isn't any signage for the hotel. Thanks for staying with us and the feedback given. Because of the hotel being new our address does not show up on GPS units that were not manufactured in the last 6 monthes without using 5101 W Spruce St. Hopefully this does not cause problems for others traveling to our hotel. “Lives Up to the Homewood Suites Reputation”

This was a newer property and we unfortunately couldn't enjoy it much. We arrived late (11:30pm) and flew out at like 6am the following morning. I think we only got to use the room for about 5 hours. As soon as I walked through the front doors, I noticed the big smile of Andrea behind the front desk. She was not only friendly, but also accommodating as she was able to secure a room upgrade for me and my family of five. This hotel was sparkling clean, and looked pretty new. The breakfast was the typical great stuff that Homewood Suites offers. The location was good for us as we dined at International Plaza a couple times and headed to both Tampa and Clearwater. Our only complaint was the size of the living room seemed smaller than usual, especially with the bed... More

Normally I wouldn't write a review, but had to this time. My husband usually finds something wrong with EVERY hotel or condo we visit on vacation.. This time he didn't find ONE THING wrong with this property!! The rooms were so clean, carpet, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. Hotel staff were wonderful as well. I so enjoyed my weekend stay here.... More
