“Don't believe the sign outside”

The sign outside said, "The best for less." Yes, it was less expensive than the other hotels in the area, about $15-20 less, but it was definitely not the best. First, the location is good, just off I-20 and quiet. Driveway around motel was tight. Exterior stairs not covered. Linens all were dingy grey, seat cusions were disgusting. Desk chair falling apart. Desk clerks couldn't/wouldn't give us a secend key, claimed keying was not working properly. Breakfast area was a joke, two tables with two chairs for entire facility, only... More
