We stayed here one night without making a reservation, arriving at 6pm. A room was available but not ready, we were told that it still needed to be cleaned. So we waited. The common area seemed to be in need of updating as well. There were figurines placed here and there, and some worn furniture. Our upstairs room was not... More

Antebellum Inn is a little taste of the "Southern Charm" of historic, gracious homes from days gone by. The four of us had the chance to stay in the villa behind the pool and were very happy with the whole experience. Our suite was just right for our family of four...because our two kids were the right size to share... More

The house feels and looks like the beautiful quant south that we dream of...The hostess was absolutely the finest, and friendliest....We stayed in a beautiful 4 room cottage behind the main house, with a pool only a few steps from our porch. The cottage was pet friendly, and made a nice retreat to entertain several relatives who lived nearby.

Recently spent a night at the beautiful Antebellum Inn in Milledgeville, GA. It is filled with lovely pictures and art objects. There is a nice swimming pool in the back of the inn. We stayed upstairs in the Twin Room which has its private bath down the hall. There is a lavatory in this bedroom. Nice, thick towels were supplied.... More

We stayed at the Antebellum Inn in order to visit Adalusia, the farm of writer Flannery O'Connor, which is a fascinating historical site in Milledgeville, Georgia. We also visited the college there. The inn is in the historical part of Milledgeville which is a pleasant walking area. Much of the rest of the town is over-built and commercial. The Inn... More

The rooms are fantastic! Located in the lovely historic district of Milledgeville, Georgia. Just a minutes walk away from Georgia College and downtown. Breakfast is not fancy or presumptuous...just delicious! Need to visit the lakes...you are only minutes away from Lake Sinclair.

My husband and I did the Antebellum trail this October, and on the last leg of our trip, we stayed at the Antebellum Inn. I can say, this is southern hospitality at its best and I highly recommend this place! The place was so elegant yet very relaxing. We stayed in the Oak Room which was so cozy and relaxing... More

Beautiful clean rooms. This lovely Inn is on the list of historic homes in Milledgeville and easy walking distance to all other homes and historic places. We had a wonderful time visiting Milledgeville and it was made more memorable by Jane, the owner of the Inn. Gracious and "from-the-heart" hospitality. Breakfast was superb! We definately plan to return...

My wife and I stayed twice last week at this B&B--coming and going to NC mountains. Jane's hospitality was outstanding. Nice, clean, well-appointed room with WiFi. Good full breakfast. Best of all was the pool. Water purification is by minimum use of salt rather than chlorine. Water was wonderfully cool and refreshing. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Antebellum Inn in Milledgeville, GA, last fall on a trip to visit our son in Augusta. We stayed in Milledgeville as a half-way point between Cordele and Augusta and picked the Antebellum Inn because we wanted a B&B. I confess we didn't realize how great the place would be when we made our... More
