We were in Perry for dog shows and didn't want to stay at any of the chain hotels. We found Henderson Village and are so glad we did. I've stayed at Henderson Village Country Resort three times now, most recently last month. I've stayed twice in the Wynne House (room 5 and room 6) and once in a tenant cottage (cottage 9). Henderson Village exceeded our expectations for dinner and an overnight stay. When we arrived, a large wedding was under way on the main lawn. We expected to get the back burner treatment because of the wedding, however we received outstanding service and had a great stay. The staff was very helpful, and our waitress for dinner (and again for breakfast)... More
