There is a long way to go getting this hotel up to the standards that they want it to be, but the owners are working hard at it.
Really wonderful staff, thank you for making us feel so welcome.

I've stayed at the New Perry Hotel several times, and find the hospitality outstanding. One Sunday I craved one of their delicious cheeseburgers and they fixed it for me, despite the kitchen being closed at the time. They are updating all of the rooms...without destroying the historic flavor of the charming main hotel. A friend stayed at one of the...

I grew up in Perry and I am very familiar with The New Perry Hotel. I have sadly watched it go down hill over the last several years, But the new owners have started to return it to its former glory. I had a great stay and enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning. I will be returning soon!

The New Perry Hotel has been on our "must stay at" list for years. We've watched this fine hotel fade, decay and then close. Since re-opening (under new owners) it has made great strides to return to its former status. We are especially pleased that the new owners have chosen to re-hire our favorite barkeeper. She "makes" the Tavery. Staying...

The location is great and the people that run the hotel were wonderful- true southern hospitality. The rooms need to be updated, the couches and carpets are visably soiled and the bathroon was in need of repair (cracked tile, mildew in the shower and sink)

It always feels like a mini-vacation to stop there for overnight refreshment, as opposed to one of the big box hotels, and it is more reasonably priced, too. There...

My husband goes to Perry, GA on business trips a few times a year. We have been staying at the New Perry Hotel for the past five years. When it closed for a year, we had to stay at the Hampton Inn which is very nice, but doesn't have the charm of the old historic hotel... I was so happy...

Took a chance at staying here after a bad experience last time, but..... A complete change from 2 years ago. The new owners are there all the time. They have done so much to make it beautiful again. Brings back great memories. If you were not happy before, take another try at it!

This historic hotel is in refresh mode as new owners bring the historic hotel back to some of its former glory. The hotel was built in 1925 to replace the original Perry Hotel built to service the railroad and stage coach thus the New in its name. The hotel has rooms in the 1925 building and a 1950s motel addition...
