Just want to highlight that a front desk officer by the name of Ricko is so warm and welcoming. His service is impecable and outstanding. He should be rewarded. I checked in about 1830 pm and he was maning the counter. Once again I would like to praise him for a job well done and his professionalism.

Nice place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. However the room is a bit dim and maintenance is a bit lacking. Due to the shower door leaking water every time we shower the floor will be flooded. The water faucet tap filter needs cleaning as every time is turn on the water will splash inside of flowing.

Stayed on 23rd Dec 2022 with family. Stopping by before heading to KK. From the outside the building shows it’s age. Once inside however, the lobby is nicely decorated for Christmas. The room at first glance looks decent however there are noticeable dusts. Upon waking up next morning me and my family members were constantly sneezing and it triggered my allergy (not an ideal way to start your vacation!). The allergy continues for days even after we reached KK (very inconvenient I must say). Pros (+) - The staff are friendly and hotel are well decorated - Has good view if you’re on the top floors. Cons (-) - Poor cleanliness (warning) dusts are everywhere and it triggered my allergy. - Food from restaurant is bland, salty & expensive (room service). - Poor & lackluster menus on breakfast buffet (again it’s also salty & expensive). - Poor maintenance, pool are closed and the amenities shows it’s age. Conclusion : Supposedly the best hotel in Lawas however I am unconvinced based on my experience there. For the price more should be expected in this hotel.Personally I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone unless it’s a desperate time (which is what happened during the time I stayed here, all other hotels are fully booked).

It is suppose to be the best hotel in Lawas BUT its not what I expect it to be. No sofa just a plastic chair and the pillows and mattress covered with plastic sheet underneath the pillows cover and bedsheet which make it slippery and not comfortable. The blanket is irritating. Worst of all only FOUR 220ml cups of water given per day while in quarantine you cannot go out to buy bottle water outside. When I request the usual complimentary TWO 500ml bottle per day, they want to charge additional Rm2.50 per bottle. WILL NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL EVER

Felt hotel was a little rundown. Everything chargeable even for extra towels. Cannot expect much from a small town hotel although it is a chain hotel in Malaysia. Requested for hair dryer few times and it was never sent to the room.

There are very limited hotel in Lawas and this by far among the best. Situated nearby eateries, the rooms are huge and comfortable. But the breakfast was basic and limited. Plenty of parking in the hotel area. However, the lobby is stuffy with no aircond.

Stayed here 3 nights and 4 days. Location is great. Service is polite. Major letdown is the free breakfast provided-choice was very limited and was a great disappointment. Room itself - second floor shower water pressure was still ok. Third floor shower water pressure was weak. Bed and pillow and blanket was ok. I did not use their wifi. Overall i enjoyed my hotel stay here - it is indeed the best available in Lawas but is a bit pricey comparatively.

Lawas is not a big place so this hotel, located on the fringe is a reasonable 10 min walk from the center. It has lots of parking. The charming lawas river is just across the road. B'fast is OK. Furnishings are dated. However, for the promotion prize of less than 30 USD for a double air-conditioned room, it is a bargain.

I do not have high expectations as I am in a small town and can’t compare the infra and other facilities. You do pay more than other hotels in town as after all this is an established chain of hotel in Malaysia. No doubt facilitates and service are much better. My compliment is that the hotel is in much better shape then my last stay. Room is maintained and water pressure improved, though still have room to improve. WiFi is available but suck. It’s CNY and you expect it will be slow. Staff are courteous but shy. So it’s all depends if you are willing to pay a bit more or put up in the smaller, cheaper shop lot hotel.
