This is a single room occupancy building for transients, it is not a hotel for visitors to Chicago or vacationers. Trip Advisor should not have it listed under a category like Bed and Breakfast as it does not serve breakfast and is not licensed as a Bed and Breakfast - beware of mistakes that proliferate on TripAdvisor.
The hotel was dirty and had cockroaches. I stepped on a roach with my bare foot in the middle of the night. The room had a sour odor, the carpeting was damp, and the blankets piled and gray. This hotel has no amenities, not even a phone in the room or breakfast.
