I just completed my second stay here. Quiet, clean and well run hotel in a Chicago neighborhood north of downtown. Lobby coffee and continental breakfast well stocked. I opt for Ann Sather's across the street though! Free Internet, really free, newspaper at the door every morning, and very friendly staff. Taxis always available. Nice boutique shopping in the area. Cheaper... More

I booked this hotel after searching something close to downtown but everything was busy or extremely expensive! After all, i found a great experience, the location, a bit far from my business destination (15min taxi to the McCormic Place and 10min from dwntown) but the hotel has everything: free internet, spacious rooms, good TV and programming, etc... The best part... More

Clean comfortable room with free internet access. Decent breakfast if eating area a little small. Short walk from CTA Addison stop and plenty of good eating spots in the vicinity More

It was my first time in Chicago and I booked this place based on recommendations. I was very happy with the King Suite, the room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom was huge with a very nice shower. Complimentary bottles of water and breakfast were also appreciated. The area is pleasant with lots of nice cafes, diners, clubs and... More

The staff is very friendly, with mostly gay managers. It's one (long) block from the heart of the Boystown bars/clubs/restaurants and there are plenty of GLBT friendly restaurants and bars on the same block. The continental breakfast is limited compared to most Best Westerns, but the WiFi connection was good in both our rooms, and overall our rooms were clean,... More

If you want to stay near Wrigley Field this is the place to try first. By Chicago standards it's close enough to walk to the stadium or to the shore -- but cabs are easy to catch if you're not enthused about that much exercise. There are a good many restaurants in the area -- nice but not generally upscale.... More

We had a king suite ( it was all that was left). It was a bit pricey but you can't beat the location. Great restaurants all around and 5 minute walk to the Boystown clubs. Great location and great restaurants in the area. I liked the laid back feel to the area and this is the best hotel in the... More

In the heart of Boystown/Lakeview, everything you could want is within walking distance. Walk out the front door and walk down Hawthorne Place one block and you can hop on a bus to downtown Chicago on North Lakeshore Drive. Parking is expensive so I just took a cab to and from the airport. Next time I will look into the... More

The Good: I had a two day stay at this hotel during a conference on the conference rate. It is a nice facility with a generous size room. No pool but a sauna and good hot tub and workout area with top line machines but limited selection. The breakfast "buffet" was adequate and between a real buffet and a continental... More

My Brothers and I went to catch a Reds / Cubs game at Wrigley and we stayed here. The rooms were great, the location was perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again More
