average but clean rooms but this property is huge and front desk is like going to an airport. You are treated like a number and there is no personalized service but if you are on business and that's ok, then it works. Location is convenient and the restaurant on ground floor offers a pretty damn good breakfast buffet and service... More

Stayed here for three nights while visiting a college with my daughter. The hotel is huge (attached to the convention center.) The front desk staff, bellman, consierge and ladies in the coffee shop were all very nice and quick to please. The room was large and had a nice view of Lake Michigan. If I had to give any cons... Dear Swindleheimer, Thank you for staying with us - I'm so happy that we exceeded your expectations! To save money on cabfare, next time try to #3 CTA bus. It stops right in front of the hotel and will take you to the Loop, Millennium Park, and the Magnificent Mile including Water Tower Place for $2.25/ride. The front desk also... More

I have about 15 photos of how gross the room I stayed in really is. I don't know how the Hyatt name is associated with this place. The only reason I am staying here is for proximity to McCormick place. Never would I choose this place on my own dime. More

The hotel is attached to McCormick Place, which makes it a convenient, although long, walk if you're attending an event there as I was recently. Other than that, it's a cab ride to anywhere else you want to visit. And, several people cautioned me about walking anywhere nearby at night. So, if I'm going to be trapped in a hotel,... More

I ended up here because I was bidding on priceline and could not get anything in the Millennium park district or anything on Michigan avenue (areas 7 and 8). It turns out there was a huge restuarant convention the same time I was visiting schools. I ended staying here one night and spent the other night at the Hyatt in... More

I stayed here to attend a large conference that was held at the conference center, this hotel, and another hotel. Although this hotel is a bit remote from other downtown Chicago sites, the convenience to the conference center made this the ideal choice. My room was extremely comfortable, and Hyatt Gold members receive free internet. Also, being able to get... More

I wrote a review of this hotel a couple of years ago but felt the need to update. I visit Chicago a lot, usually for pleasure. And I've stayed in several different Chicago hotels, most of them really nice. But I just keep going back to the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. My number one reason is the staff. When I... More

We booked this hotel because we were vendors for a large show at McCormick Place. The staff at the hotel was excellent everywhere we encountered them. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the room was very quiet. The location is great if you need to get to the convention center, especially the North Hall, which is literally right... More

It is the best hotel downtown. Spacious great view and quiet. The Hyatt has very comfortable beds. Parking, though expensive, was well worth the price. Unlimited in/out privileges made it worth paying $32.00 per day for. Excellent location to every attraction. Very highly recommend. We stay here twice a year. More
