Older landmark hotel with updated rooms. Very pleasant stay last Thurs and Friday nights. I was very comfortable and saved nearly $400 compared to the Drake across the street in just 2 nights! The hotel was lovely but the way the bathroom was designed was terrible, especially for women! The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. I would have had better luck putting my makeup on in the elevator, which was well lit. Also, the counter in the bathroom was very high, making it difficult to put makeup on from 3 feet away.... More

We had a great 4 day stay over Mother's Day weekend. The hotel has great comfy beds and pillows. Our room was super quiet, which was great. Our view was not wonderful, but the friendly staff made up for it. It was a great location for walking. It was a great value in a sea of big chain hotels. More

Stayed for 4 nights in early May. Room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the Lake and to the shops at 900 Michigan. There is a charge for wifi in room but it is free in the lobby, which is very nice. More
