In past years we frequently stayed at the Tremont. Always to find it warm and inviting. As life seems to take turns we find ourselves not traveling to Chicago as frequently as we would like....but this was an exception...our 22 wedding anniversary. The hotel went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience....we love the Tremont!

Stayed here for a few nights on a business trip with my husband. Within walking distance to Magnificent mile and great city views (the pic is from our room) Rooms are a little small- but it is Chicago so you expect that. We got a great deal on this room by booking online.

The hotel is old, but that is part of its charm. The staff is very friendly, always smiling ready to help. The rooms are small, but clean, and since it is located right off of Michigan Ave, there is no need to stay in your room. A great place to stay and enjoy the sights of Chicago.

The Tremont is perfectly situated in the North side of Chicago. It is very close to N Michigan where the buses run regularly up and down the avenue. Our room was very clean, and kept that way. I was hesitant to stay at the Tremont based on some of the reviews I have read. I stay over 100 nights per year at Starwood properties (W, Westin, Sheraton).
