This place is magical. From the horses on the farm to the clean cabins and fresh cuts flowers on the porch. It was the perfect getaway for our 10 year anniversary. We loved it and will be back in August.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in their Cougar Bluff Cabin in February. It is tiny, but perfect for two with a climb up a ladder to a very comfy loft. Very clean, well kept and such a friendly atmosphere! When we arrived there was an ice storm so we holed up in our adorable cabin and watched... More

We spent two nights in Deer Run cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is private, cozy, and nicely appointed. We're hikers, so the first thing we did was walk the 1.6 mile perimeter trail. It was late afternoon and there was a coating of snow in the woods. The well-marked and well-maintained trail made for a delightful introduction... More

We just spent 2 nights in Deer Run cabin. This cozy cabin nestled in the woods was just what we needed to relax. It had more than enough room for 2 (it sleeps 8). When we come back our daughter will love the loft. Our cabin was absolutely spotless. Everything we needed was provided and then some. Don't hesitate visiting... More

This was our second stay at Rim Rock's Dogwood Cabins and my husband and I can not say enough good about this property. Both times we have stayed at Coyote Hollow Cabin and have left feeling so rejuvenated and connected again with one another. We have only been able to stay two nights at a time but we hope one... "Perfect place to restore the spirit". Thank you so much. That is the way we have felt since moving here in 2001. Especially glad you enjoyed the trail around our property. Bob and I have enjoyed it for years and it suddenly dawned on us (duh) that others might as well. Perfect place to hike early in the morning or... More

Excellent location, nice clean cabins and helpful owners. Very quiet area. Surprisingly easy to find. For a long weekend getaway it was perfect. But remember to bring your own food / drinks as there is not much around.

My wife and I have been coming here for many years. We usually stay for 3 to 5 days, for a wonderful, relaxing, winter break. We've stayed in the Cougar's Den and Deer Run cabins, and they both were great. Cougar's Den is small but cozy, while Deer Run is more spacious, but both are well-equipped and comfortable. Dixie and... More

The minute I stepped into our beautiful and cozy cabin (Deer Run), I commented to my husband that I felt as if I was warmly hugged. Spending time at Rim Rock's Dogwood Cabin over Christmas was our second stay there, and what perfect timing! The cabin had been joyously decorated with Christmas decorations! No need to pack a tree or... More

My wife and I have talked for sometime of going to the Shawnee National Forest area to lodge and do some hiking. We did an online search and were immediately drawn to the Rim Rock Dogwood Cabins. We took a mid-week chance this week to see if they had a cabin available and were thrilled to be able to get... More

My Mother drove South from Chicago and I North from Atlanta to find this charming place to spend Thanksgiving together. The Dart's are very hospitable and great care is given to your comfort. We had a wonderful, warm holiday with much to be thankful for. The dog came along and we had a great time hiking Rim Rock's trail (spectacular!).... More
