After a one-night stay here before an early flight out of ORD, I thought of all the money we wasted on other, costlier hotels. This place isn't the closest to the airport, but it's got to be the closest, cleanest, most affordable hotel. Our rate was less than $80, the front desk service was great.

The staff at Elk Grove Holiday Inn are Amazing! They went out of their way to help a weary traveler make it back from O'hare Airport! The room was typical and clean for a Holiday Inn property. Breakfast was good, served to order and fast.

I conducted a two day business meeting at this property. Nothing went as planned from the get-go. I wasn't even able to book my own room at the group rate, and they only managed to get 2 of 16 of my attendees at the group rate.

Much as you might expect from a better Holiday Inn. A clean quiet room at a reasonable cost. Very close to O'Hare Airport with a free shuttle. The staff was very kind and it was an enjoyable stay. No reason not to choose this Hotel.

Decidedly not 5-star, and not advertised as such. Definitely a preferred choice at this price point.
Staff especially attentive, friendly, and efficient, 24 hours. Elevator was fast and always available.
Meeting room was convenient and well-suited to our 3-day needs. Attentive staff re snacks, coffee, meals, etc. Always kept clean and fresh. Did not meet national code requirement for two...

A branch office of my company is across the street, so it's extremely convinient for me to stay there...the staff were friendly, almost everything was OK... But my room was horrible. Holiday Inn - they do what they do quite well. It's not upscale at all, but it meets all of your needs. The rooms are standard, with comfortable beds & all is in good repair. There is a fairly large restaurant/bar downstairs that is open late - dinner stops at 10 PM, drinks at midnight (at least during the week)....
