Great hosts and a great stay. Breakfast was very good each morning and the hosts could not have been more kind. Sitting on the top of the hill overlooking Galenea the location offers good views and good proximity to town. Will be back and would recommend to others. More

I have stayed in a Super8 for $45 a night (scary) and $375 a night on the Columbia river. The home has been amazingly restored by Kathleen and Tom and I simply cannot say enough good things about it. Beautiful home with view of Grant's Park in historic Galena, IL, home of President and Civil War Hero US Grant. Home belonged to physician and friend of President Grant who lived 4 doors down.
