The room was adequate in most every way. There was a problem with the bathroom. We called for maintenance and was promised help would arrive in five minutes. Help never arrived so had to go without showering. That did not leave us very happy.

Our room was great & the hospitality & professionalism of the staff was excellent! We had a clean & the bed was comfy! Stayed here 2 nights and have nothing good to say about the place. Room was just plain dirty. Carpet looked like someone vomited on it in several places. One working light bulb in the room. The room smelled like something sickly sweet (rug deordorizer?), the sheets were clammy, and the carpet was dingy, not only in our room but the hallway. To top it off, we were charged twice---once by Expedia, which I authorized, then again by Baymont, which I did not. Considering a call to the state Attorney General.

This hotel is the basic chain-type hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nicer than most economy hotels: you could make your own waffle, cereals, pastries, toast and boiled eggs.
My only complaint of the hotel was that my room smelled bad. It smelled like someone had pee'd on the carpet and it had permeated the padding.

Bearing in mind that the temps were hot and humid, we had the clammiest and MOIST hotel room we have ever experienced. The sheets felt damp and gross and cold. The room's wetness made my daughter's asthma flare up.
The pool looked green and viscous. We did not enter it.
