Silver Fish Lodge is stunningly located on a river mouth. The lodge sits wonderfully in the surroundings. The owner of the lodge and all staff were fantastic. Mozambican / Portuguese food was excellent, and owner, Etienne, is a dedicated fishing guide who knows the area well and will put you on fish. He gets more excited when fish are caught... More

Silver Fish Lodge is first and foremost a luxury Fishing lodge situated about 14km outside Maxixe. One will need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the lodge as the road leading to it from the "main" road is fairly bad. However having said, that we got there in a Corolla but I wouldn't recommend this as we were constantly bottoming... More
