Very conveniently situated just off the A1, Manor House is well-placed whether travelling north, south, or simply walking / sightseeing locally. Our room (Priory) was very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Being on the second floor we had hoped for a slightly better sea view, but we were after all a mile or two inland. Breakfasts were excellent, and our hosts... More

We (a couple) secured a last minute room at the Manor House which is located very conveniently to visit Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and to visit the beautiful Northumberland beaches. We were made very welcome and the hosts booked us for dinner at a nearby (3 miles down the road) pub which does a great beef and ale pie. The beer... More

We have just returned home from our short break in Northumberland. We have stayed at the Manor House for the fifth time now. Each time we have had a different room and have been highly delighted with our spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Kate and Mike are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Their knowledge of the area... More

I stayed here for one night while walking the St Cuthbert's way. Fenwick is a very tiny place with no services or pubs, so the hosts put on a 'shuttle service' to an inn a few kilometers away. Even though it is close to the busy A1 road, the place is very quiet; one can eaqsily sleep with the window... More

Myself plus 3 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 11 stayed in the Manor House, Fenwick, Berwick-Upon-Tweed this July. I cannot recommend this B&B too highly. We were made very welcome and everything possible was provided for our comfort. There was a great choice for breakfast including home-made jams, fresh fruit and fish. Everything was beautiful and spotlessly clean.... More

We stayed at the Manor House for 8 days, as we were exploring Northumberland and used it as our base. The location on the A1 is very good - very convenient for the transport connections in Berwick, and also in the right direction for getting to places such as Alnwick, Bamburgh and Newcastle. The local scenery is breathtaking, and you... More

Having not been to Northumbria since 2008 we decided it was time to visit again and try the Manor House at Fenwick which had been a perfect base during our last visit. We were warmly welcomed back and found the Manor House lived up to our pleasant recollections from four years ago. Our bedroom was well furnished and comfortable with... More

Arrived to find a stand in person there to welcome us. Well, welcome is probably not the right word. The first question on opening the door was "Are you walkers?" This lady obviously worked there and was just waiting until we arrived. The ice broke slowly and we managed to have short chat. I had asked the owners on the... More

With regard to the comment made about The Manor House B & B being 'For Sale' future guests need not worry. Our property has been on the market for just over 2 years and owing to the current state of the property market I do not feel that we will be moving anytime soon. Our B & B is inspected... More

My wife and I stayed at the Manor House on a recent visit to Northumberland. The guest house is easily found just of the A1 and it's also only a few miles from the causeway out to the Holy Island and it's also on three long distance walking routes, (Northumberland Coastal Path, St Cuthberts Way and the St Oswalds Way).... We stayed at the Manor House for three nights. The house was built in the 17th century and offers charming ensuite accommodation with all facilities of excellent quality . Kate was most welcoming and an excellent source of information for the area. Fenwik is a quiet backwater a short distance from the Holy Isle. The house was most comfortable and... More
