This place was so filthy I ended up checking out the first night i was there. Cockroaches everywhere. Very unfriendly staff. Almost to the point of harassment.. Plenty of other hotels close that offer a clean cockroach free room. More

I visited Winthrop harbor for cancer treatment center. We rented a room at Sandpiper Inn and we will for rest of our trips. Hotel staff is so co-operative, loving and kind. They know how to treat individual. Very cozy place. Regarding property, they have remodelled the property so one would like it. We love this place. More

Bad, and when I say bad, it's the worst!!! The best part of the whole experience was seeing their sign in the rear view mirror. They should have charged by the hour. Unless your life depends on it, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! More
