This hotel is easy to locate off the highway. It is located near some really good restaurants. The staff that we encountered was very friendly and accommodating. The furnishings are a little dated, but the hotel was very clean.

“Very Comfortable”

Recently remodeled. Great nights sleep, everything nice and clean. Pool and hot tub also very nice. Staff outstanding. Had a two queen room, plenty of space to spread out and work. Very quite at night, very good stay.

this hotel is great! For the 3rd year in a row I have met up with friends for an extended weekend and stayed at the Chesterton HGI and have been impressed with the service and the hotel itself. I highly recommend it.

Great accommodations and wonderful staff! the lobby was very clean and well kept. The room was clean and well kept also and the bed is a select comfort type. The bathroom was very clean. Even though I was only there for one night, I will remember this hotel for future travel!

If you are in the area, this is the place to stay. Staff is helpful, food is more than satisfactory, Wifi is great - for one- or two-night-stay, you won't have to drive around just to find out a mediocre chain restaurant.

There was no notifaction of the restaurant being closed at the time of making the reservation or prior to check-in which would have made a difference in where I stayed. The room had a fuuny odor but appeard to be clean.
