“Cold Energy Saver Lights Do Not Belong In Hotel Rooms”

On a recent business trip with my husband throughout Iowa I was disgusted by the Fluorescent Lighting at certain Super 8 Hotel rooms. The one in Charles City was the coldest, brightest, most glaring light I think I've ever encountered at a hotel. If people want to fall for the scam that is the"Green" agenda, fine - put fluorescent lighting... More

“A good hotel in a quiet town”

Overall, a good hotel that was very clean, rooms were nice, and the bed comfortable. We stayed for one night and were very satisfied. The hotel is right next to a KMart which helps with any late night needs. The room price was a bit steep considering it' s in the middle of nowhere Iowa.

We have family in Minnesota so this is a great half way point. excellent location. Easy to find. Close to dining. We have stayed here several times and will go back again! Very friendly Service with clean rooms.
