The staff were very friendly and recomended a great place to eat. The bar in the hotel was nice and not small. Bed was a little hard for my taste but the pillows were great. Wifi works well...not real slow like some places. I would stay again More

It wasnt the greatest hotel but it was OK for what we needed. Lacked amenities but made up for them by having a free shuttle ( within 2 miles of the hotel). The rooms were simple but clean and we did have a little trouble with ambulance siren in the middle of the night ( next to a hospital ) More

This is a great option in Downtown Des Moines, close to the hospital and not too far from the Capitol. The property needs improvements across the board, but the place is not a dump. They always put me in a larger room on one of the top floors. More

This aging hotel has a friendly staff at the front desk but not always in the restaurant "Genevieve" where you can have a not so good breakfast.
