The location is very good. We stayed here before and after the Twilight River Cruise. The rooms are large, comfortable beds and clean. The second night a perfumed spray (a problem when allergic to chemicals!) was used in the room but it is possible to open the window and clear out the smell. We stayed at the Super 8 two times in mid-July, 2011. Just before we took a river cruise and the night we came back. The staff is friendly, the room clean and more than adequate, and the continetal breakfast far beyond regular Super 8's. The price was right and Le Claire is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed our stay at this Super 8. The management was so friendly and hospitable to us having a comfortable stay. The morning breakfast was very nice and our room was clean and well appointed.
