We stayed here for my father-in-laws funeral. I do have a few things to comment on, the first would be the way the water comes out in the sink in the bathroom. Its sprays all over the place, other family members said the same thing. The pool is closed for good. The breakfast was ok, just your basic cereal, bagels,...

We booked our reservations with this hotel last year November 2009, I phoned tonight to confirm the reservations and was talking to the "new" manager telling her how we have stayed in that hotel for ten years and that our kids and myself enjoy the pool while their father works away from the hotel. When I hung up my husand...

I would like to thank you for taking the time and writing the review. I am sorry that you experienced rudeness for our front desk staff. Our pool and spa have been down for over a year at that time and we try to make sure when calling us we advise of this matter. With our pool being down for...

We stayed here for 2 nights. I booked it because of the jacuzzi which we thought would feel great after a day of trout fishing. When we got to the motel there was a sign on the door that the pool and spa were not working. It is my understanding they haven't worked all summer. This should probably be noted...

The first sign this might not be the best hotel out there was a sign on the door explaining why nothing is "their fault". And no, I'm not kidding. Pool - out of order. Hot tub - out of order. Room pricing - messed up. Cleanliness - not the best. Staff - very incompetent
(shouldn't a hotel that offers a...

I requested a king size bed on the ground floor, but was told I would have to take two queens instead. Ok; no big deal. The beds were the worst we have ever slept on. Standing in the room, you could see the beds were bowed and had very little support. The next morning I asked the desk clerk to...

Thank you for taking the time out to share your experience at our hotel. I apologize that your experience was anything less than satisfying. Please know that we do not have any King rooms on the first floor. Most of our rooms are 2 Queen beds and they are located on the first floor.
Please know that your feedback is...

The Manchester Days Inn is not worthy of a being called even suitable lodging. If you're looking for the most horrific experience ever, then by all means stay here! Where do I begin? The pool was GREEN, the only thing that was missing were the ducks and weeds. The room was dirty, curtains were only half hung on the curtain...

On a long road trip we decided to stop in Dyersville, IA. Every hotel in the area was booked except for the last room in Manchester at the Days Inn. We drove the half hour drive and pulled into the Days Inn parking lot. I was quoted $71 plus tax over the phone for the night because of my triple...

Our room was large & clean with a very large bathroom. The bed was comforable and it was very quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was good. They provided a pancake maker & pancake dough rather than the toaster variety which I found unique. The desk staff was friendly & the price was reasonable.

We took a short trip to take my Mom and Aunt to visit relatives in Manchester , Iowa. We stayed at the Days Inn and were surprised to find no elevator. This is a rather new property. They also lacked an ice machine on the second floor. They do have a pool and free breakfast including waffle maker. We were...
