the front desk lady was most helpful,kind and caring that ive ever seen at a hotel,,,carrie was her name,she helped from front door thru our whole visit,then we woke up to a bit of a load harsh lady,took us by surprise,way differant treatment till carrie came back on that afternoon..wish all your staff was like this...

Stayed here as a Comfort Inn - loved it! Even better as a Quality Inn and Suites! It's totally remodeled and very nice! Beautiful bathrooms with granite countertops, stylish new carpet, and contemporary new furniture. By far the classiest place to stay in Mason City!

Had an extended stay in what I thought was a clean hotel. Trains horns blared continuously at a nearby intersection throughout the night. Bitten by bed bugs. Staff said it was spiders & called an exterminator, but bites continued. Left hotel.

Mason City is a town in need of a HGI or Hampton Inn. Having tried a couple other hotels in past and still looking for a better nights stay, I tried this location.
