Okay... I understand that trying to check in early is a win some /lose some thing. I can handle either answer, but it is how it is delivered. I show up at 12;30 to attend a conference at the Union across the street. I walked to the front desk and politely ask if I could check in early. Flatly, the... More

I just stayed at this Holiday Inn through a booking at Hotwire and I was delighted with the accomodations. I'm old enough to remember the Holiday Inns of yore, so this new upgraded and fancified HI was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable, the pillows worked for me, the bathroom was nice and the view was a bonus. The... More

The hotel has a perfect location right next to K-State campus. The attached Houlihan's is convenient as well. I don't know why but the hotel seems to employ at the reception possibly the rudest people that you can possibly find in Manhattan, KS. More

We stayed at this location for two nights during graduation weekend—December 2011. Overall the hotel stay was pleasant except for some minor inconveniences. On a positive note, the front desk staff are all very courteous and helpful. If they don’t know the answer to a question they will try to find out for you. At least that’s what I encountered.... I spent a weekend in Manhattan and had a first class hotel experience "at the campus". The room was well appointed and the meals at the restaurant always fresh and flavorful. However, it was the hospitality that made the experience so special. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Oh yah and the wildcats won! More

On previous trips to Manhattan, I have had the great misfortune of staying at the old Holidome. So with great anxiety, I pulled up to the Holiday Inn Manhattan and was very pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. From the first steps into the hotel it was clear this was a significant upgrade in everything except the price. The service... More

I reviewed this hotel a few years ago and it has not changed too much since then. This hotel has the best beds I have slept in all year. They are apparently known for their beds. HVAC worked very well although it is a unit in the room so you will hear it. Hallway noise is noticeable but not a... More

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and welcome you back anytime you are in town! The pest control spraying you observed was a monthly preventative treatment program we participate in. We want to ensure that we continue to provide a clean pest free environment so we invest in programs to keep our property that way. Thank you for your... More

Really good location to Manhattan stores/shops and restaurants, only a 10 min walk into Aggieville. Lovely comfortable quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast and lovely terrace to sit outside and try their fab cocktails. Service for breakfast was so slow one day, but they took the whole bill off our table (for 12 of us!) so it made up for it. Bonus... More

This is a nice hotel within walking distance of the KSU campus and the Aggieville area. The room was clean and adequately appointed and common areas were simple but attractive. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat at the restaurant (there are plenty of nearby choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner), but had a few drinks in the... More

I second the review below except we had not one but 2 terrible meals at the adjoining restaurant, Houlihans. Identical experience w/the eggs benedict - basically a hard boiled egg on top. And the hollandaise sauce was....not hollandaise sauce. Not sure that that was. Pool is great, rooms are updated and spacious. More
