Friendly staff, clean working fitness equipment, good selection of breakfast foods, and WiFi in the room. Hampton generally has a very consistent product from city to city and I can always count on decent comfortable accomodations wherever I go.

Overall it was still a nice, clean, Hotel, the staff could just use some manners training! Friendly staff so helpful and accomodating, hotel was very clean-lobby area, halls, elevators & rooms. Pool was nice and warm. Pull out couch isn't really comfy but not many are. Room was spacious with full size fridge, microwave & cooktop stove (if you really wanted to cook it had everything you needed). Great place to stay and good value also!

“by the train tracks”

Good rooms but the hotel is nears some train tracks, and they have the heating and a/c controls set so you cant turn the fan only on, this would help drown out the highway and trains. I am moving to another hotel after one bad night of sleep. I admit I am a light sleeper so if you are not... More

“Expected Better”

Comforter was lumpy. Light from parking lot was shining in window making it hard to sleep. Heavier Curtain wouldn't close. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs were fake and tasteless. “Hampton Inn of Merriam, Kanas”

This is my "go to" hotel when visiting family in the greater Kansas City area. It is conveniently located in the middle of siblings and in-laws. I can count on consistent quality of room, staff, and free breakfast.

“Clean, quality lodging, professional staff, everything works”

Nice facility. No bad surprises of drama. All appliances work. Refrigerator had a freezer compartment (important when traveling with certain medications). Bathroom not cramped like some properties. Quiet in spite of train tracks behind location.

Funky location, was central to everything we needed but was hard to get to. Older hotel which hasn't been updated recently. Toilet was super low to the floor.
