The Good: Cheapest motel in the KC Metro Area, proximity to shopping and restaurants, lightning fast wifi and tons of cable channels with HBO2.
The Bad: Outdated and run down motel, cleanliness is just ok, minimal breakfast choices, no or very little a/c in the motel itself (other than in rooms) and sketchy persons living in the motell.
The Ugly:...

A killer shower that goes from ice cold to scalding hot in a nanosecond. The clerk on duty was not authorized to do anything or guarentee a different room would be better. Her words, "I don't shower here". A pillow that was so hard it was about 10 inches thick and could barely go in the pillow case. Ridiculous! We...

Owner had bad attitude. Wanted more money at check out and was very upset when I refused to pay. Not clean. Loud air conditioner. Would NEVER stay here again. Breakfast was bread with a toaster but no butter. Weird. And some tiny powdered sugar donuts. Weakest coffer ever, tasted like flavored water. Also a watered down orange drink, not juice....

I travel all over the country for my job and am very budget concious, so I stay at a lot of econo lodges and the like. They are cheap and easy to find, and they provide coffee and a quick easy breakfast. This one was cheap and right along my way, so I stopped. The room was filthy. I found...

I read the previous reviews and can assure everyone nothing has changed. They're still not using fitted sheets, but apparently ARE using the same sheets they were a couple years ago - mine had holes as well. I didn't notice the smoky odor, but this establishment still has smoking and non-smoking rooms. One improvement: didn't notice any bugs.
If there...

While this motel was in a good location and didn't seem all that bad at first, the occurences along the way quickly changed our minds. First of all, no fitted sheets on the beds. I've never in all my days of travel spent time in a motel or hotel without a bed that has fitted sheets. We were quite surprised...

I stayed here for a 3 day weekend for a wedding. I chose the hotel because it was free with points and I knew I would basically just sleep there. Sleeping was difficult.
The entire first floor of the hotel smelled of smoke. I was in a smoking room but didn't reaize it until we were settled and relucant to...

This "hotel" has not had any professional work done on it in all the years it has been around. The showers stop up, the hot and cold water change during the shower, their breakfast consists of box doughnuts from the day old store, fake orange juice, a slice of bread, and the so called jam is expired. The linens have...
